Project Context
The project, carried out within the program funded by Amna, aimed to support the healing and social reintegration process of individuals affected by trauma. The activities were designed for both adults and children, providing them with tools to manage their emotions and improve their mental and emotional well-being.
Activities Conducted
Nearly 200 people benefited from the activities organized in the Licurici, Budești, and Grătiești centers, which included:
- Art therapy – sessions dedicated to emotional expression and overcoming trauma through art;
- Handmade activities – creative workshops to develop manual skills and promote relaxation;
- Psychosocial support sessions – discussions and counseling to manage stress and daily challenges.
Impact on Participants
- Children: The activities were essential in releasing tension and expressing emotions in a safe environment. Through crafts and therapeutic games, they learned to regulate their emotions and interact more effectively with others.
- Adults: Psychosocial support sessions helped reduce anxiety and depression. Art therapy and handmade workshops provided moments of relaxation and rediscovering the joy of creation. Psychological support played a crucial role in rebuilding self-esteem and regaining control over their lives.
