The World Vision Project

Context and Duration: October 2022 – May 2025
The project, carried out with the support of World Vision, started in October 2022 and is scheduled to end on May 31, 2025. It takes place at the Children and Youth Center in Budești and Grătiești, as well as at the “Licurici” Republican Puppet Theatre.
2. Project Beneficiaries
Main Beneficiaries:
- Children from the local community
- Refugees from Ukraine, 800 children
3. Objectives
The project aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Providing a safe environment for children and youth
- Ensuring access to quality education
- Offering psychological and emotional support
- Supporting social integration through various educational and recreational activities
4. Activities
Within the centers and the “Licurici” Republican Puppet Theatre, several activities are organized to meet the beneficiaries’ needs:
- Ceramics workshops: Developing artistic skills and creativity
- Ukrainian language courses: Facilitating communication and preserving cultural identity
- Romanian language courses: Tailored sessions for both adults and children to ensure effective linguistic integration
- Mathematics courses: Strengthening basic and advanced knowledge
- Computer design courses: Developing digital and creative skills
- Sand therapy and modeling therapy with clay: Activities dedicated to psychological and emotional support, helping to reduce stress and improve well-being
5. Achievements
The project represents a comprehensive initiative that combines educational and therapeutic activities to create a safe and supportive environment. Through the diversity of activities and the direct involvement of beneficiaries, the project aims to improve the quality of life for children from the local community and Ukrainian refugees, facilitating their social integration and personal development.
