Child/Learner-Centered Education as Basis for the Inclusive Education

Geografic coverage through trainings: Cantemir, Cimișlia, Soroca, Strășeni, Ștefan Vodă regions

Project goal: to support the MOE in promoting inclusive education through ensuring a common vision among the key actors involved in promoting the inclusion of children with special educational needs (SEN) in mainstream educational institutions and to support inclusive educational practices.

The project activities implemented by SBSM:

– developed training materials for diverse target groups

– delivered a training of trainers from different relevant organizations promoting child/learner-centered inclusive education (with participation of faculty from pre-  and in-service teacher training institutions)

– selected schools and participants for the trainings

(priority given to the schools that have least benefited from professional development)

–  provided 5 days of training ( in two rounds) to the selected teachers on child-centered approach  as a prerequisite for the well-being and learning for all
