Seminars for Nursery Educators: Together for Quality Education

Between September 19 – November 8, 2025, at the Institute of Labour in Chișinău, a series of seminars will be held for nursery educators, bringing together 440 teaching staff from across the country, under the theme “Improving the Quality of Education.”

This extensive training program is organized with the support of the Ministry of Education and Research, in partnership with Street Child and the “Step by Step” Educational Program, with the generous support of the UBS Optimus Foundation (UBS OF). It marks the beginning of a new stage in the professional development of educators working with the youngest children.

Why these seminars?

A child’s earliest experiences are decisive for their development. How do we help the youngest discover the world with confidence? How do we create safe and stimulating environments where play and learning go hand in hand? These are the questions the seminars aim to answer, highlighting the importance of quality educational services for children under the age of three.

What do these meetings bring?

Throughout the sessions, participants will explore and practice:

  • intentional educational strategies that spark curiosity and foster harmonious development;
  • designing physical, social, and temporal environments that support autonomy and cooperation;
  • the importance of positive language and constructive communication with children;
  • health, nutrition, and safety as fundamental elements of early education;
  • models of best practices shared by peers and experienced trainers.

More than a seminar

These seminars are designed as a space for collaborative learning, where educators can share their experiences, enrich their teaching methods, and become part of a professional community united by the same mission: quality education for every child.

A step towards the future

Through the involvement of international and national partners – Street Child, Step by Step, and the Ministry of Education and Research – this program is not only a series of trainings, but also a shared commitment to building a stronger foundation for early childhood education.
