Quality Inclusive Education for Children in Cahul and Ungheni!

The EU4Moldova Final Conference on November 13, 2024, is an important event dedicated to evaluating the progress and achievements of the programs implemented under the EU4Moldova initiative. The conference brought together representatives from local authorities and educators to discuss the accomplishments and impact of the project in the field of education.
With the support of the European Union in the Republic of Moldova, kindergartens and schools in Cahul and Ungheni are adopting child-centered education, ensuring an environment where every child, regardless of their needs, is valued and supported.
Over 70 experts and educators from these regions gathered in Chișinău for a conference to discuss the results achieved over the past three years: more than 1,200 educators have been trained, 30 kindergartens benefited from mentoring sessions, and teaching methods have been adapted to include every child in the learning process.
The initiatives were implemented by UNICEF and the Step by Step Educational Program, under the “EU4Moldova: Key Regions” Program, funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP Moldova and UNICEF.
UNICEF reaffirms its commitment to supporting educators and creating an inclusive education system adapted to diversity. Here, every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential in a safe and welcoming environment.
