National Seminar: “Educating with Confidence” – Learning through Play and Building Family Partnerships

On May 23–24, 2025, 150 methodologists from kindergartens across the country gathered for the national seminar titled “Educating with Confidence: Building a Partnership with Families Based on Mutual Trust and Learning through Play.”
Organized in partnership with UNICEF Moldova and supported by the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the seminar provided an authentic space for reflection, learning, and the exchange of best practices among professionals in early childhood education.
Over the course of two days, participants explored key topics aimed at strengthening the relationship between kindergartens and families through the lens of play and empathetic communication. Highlights included:
- Active listening and a deeper understanding of children’s needs;
- Empathic communication techniques for engaging with parents;
- Practical playful parenting activities that help build authentic connections between children, parents, and educators.
Each session was designed to offer concrete ideas and practical tools, empowering participants to become facilitators of change within their educational communities.
The methodologists left the seminar not only with new knowledge and resources but also with renewed confidence in their role as educational leaders and promoters of a collaborative, trust-based approach to education.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved in organizing and supporting this event. Together, we are building strong bridges between kindergartens and families—for the benefit of every child’s holistic development.
